Yeah, I guess that would be me, as of 7:oo pm EDST.

Wow. What a monster this thing is! And so very different from the DRebel.
It's no wonder some Mark II owners call the Rebel a toy (nothing personal,
understand. I still have mine, which now is my wife's). The DRebel is about
half the size of a Mark II and weighs like a feather in comparison. And don't
even mention controls; it's like learning to shoot photography all over
again. But I have it working off the AC current while the battery charges,
and pretty soon I'll be off up the street to take some night shots for
practice. Hopefully, they'll be decent enough to post. Check back in later.

Congrats!!! But, do use a favor...Edit your post and change the subject to read 1D instead of D1. ;)

Oops. Heh. Fixed. (Get myself thrown out of the club before I'm even in it..)

OK. Here's the first image from my almost new 1D Mark II. Enjoy :D

Welcome aboard Rick!

Wow,.. Rebel to MkII in one easy step! Now that's a big leap

Cangrats.

Heh. Not my night! There's nothing wrong with the link. I substituted a
link to a picture taken with my DRebel, and the stupid thing works fine.
The Mark II jpg doesn't want to load for some reason.

Whew! Got it. Stupid jpeg.

About the picture: I can enlarge it to the point where you can read the
writing on the windows, and there's little or no noise. Shot at ISO 800.

Things can only get better with this thing.
