Hello,

I'm using my powershop G 1 in combination with
a B+W nl 4 macrofilter.
Can I put this between an adapter and a teleconverter?
I want to use an UV-filter just to protect my lense. witch
one shall I buy?

Thanks ,joost

The brand shouldn't matter much; Hoya is very popular with G1 users, but I've heard Sunpak mentioned a number of times.

Also, I've been told that a UV(0) and a sunlight filter (1A) will work about the same with a digital camera - the automatic white balance will adjust for the 1A's slight tint.

However, if you are going to leave the filter on all the time as a lens protector, then consider a multicoated filter because it will minimize reflections. I picked up the Hoya Super UMC UV(0) for under US$20 on the web. The final coating is a protector that makes it easier to clean - this is apparently a problem with other multicoated filters.
