Colorado raptor ID req please

Just back from a family holiday in Colorado. One or two pics to show later, but I'd appreciate an ID of this little fellow caught sitting on a telephone wire by the highway.

I use Peterson's FIeld Guide first, then Sibley's, but online you can try http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/ too.
