Just wondering if anyone here used the BW Workflow Pro plugin? I saw a few pics that were done in it and it looks like a sweet plugin, anyone have experience with it?

I use it and am very happy with it. It makes converting to B&W quicker and more convenient. It also helps me get consistent results when I doing larger batches.

Any link? Who makes it etc..?

Sounds intriguing. My B&W efforts have thus far.. er "sucked"

Is that the only place you can get this plugin? Is there anywhere cheaper anyone may know of? $30 for a plugin is a bit steep for me.

Fred makes all the plugins and actions there, and as far as I know he has no other outlets. I find his stuff very good and what he saves me in time and consternation is well worth the money. I bought them all except the camera specific stuff.

This guy's stuff is good. Make sure to note at the bottom about his action (and the rename you have to do on it)

Check it out.

Ohh come on! You gladly pay hundreds of $$ for a camera and will probably end up spending thousands of $$$ on lenses but You can't afford $30 for a plugin?? Don't You think Fred Miranda deserves to earn a little money on making these plugins?

Hi Tommy!

Yeah, it's cheap at twice the price. Look at some of the other plugins like the Nik stuff and gasp.

No, I have no hesitation to pay for good software to match good cameras. I use IntelliSharp daily. Saves me stacks of time and I can trust it. Kind of fun to watch over Fred's shoulder while he does it for me.

Yeah I just went and bought the BW plugin as well as the ISO and SR plugins.

SR gives the shadows a good scrubbing and ISO is fine for daily noise, though Neat Image and Ninja will be better when it really gets down to it. Fred's stuff is very simple and easy to use, and you can do fine tuning in Opacity.

I cannot justify paying alot of money for software. I will find it cheaper somewhere else or wont buy it.

Hmmm ok, so how come You need this plugin for Photoshop ? It is not compatible with Photoshop Elements thus You must own Photoshop which cost a LOT of more money......

And $30 is NOT a lot of money. In my opinion if You can afford to have photography as a hobby You can afford $30.

Just cut "justify" and "ing" and that's the point.

C'mon Tommy, let's go for a beer...

I do own Photoshop CS, but I wont pay $30 for a simple plugin.
