Hi Rob, sorry to hear about your mum and I hope she is OK. At least I had a two day event where I could wear a t-shirt instead of waterproofs! Get yourself along to the AMOC meeting on the 15th as they are usually something special.

Regarding the fire, it was actually quite an inferno at one point and the driver got out just in time as the flames shot in the air. The above was when it was almost out and the cowling was lifted to get at the root of the fire. It melted the cowling and emptied at least three extinguishers. It was out racing next day.
