Afternoon ladies and gents,
As it's not too far from my house I decided to head to Goodwood instead of the seemingly very popular Brands meeting. It was the tenth Revival and my first for a few years and whilst i got into the spirit of it all, I thought it lacked some of the atmosphere of earlier events. It certainly was busier than I ever remember and I gave up walking round so apologies for the lack of different angles.
Plus I need a bigger lens for some of the shots I wanted...
So here goes anyway.
1. Wayne Gardner ran away and hid. Here he is playing hide and seek

2. The ERA's were fantastic. The noise is brilliant

3. The art of 4-wheel drifts

4. "BABS". The land-speed record attempt car that killed it's driver JG Parry Thomas in 1927 on Pendine Sands. The car was buried on the beach and dug up and restored in the Sixties. A very interesting story of the car is on http://www.parry-thomas.co.uk/pt3b.htm

5. Sixties muscle cars

6. They built them small back then... The Ford Galaxie

7. Different angle. Proper Sixties cars again. Loti and Minis!

8. And a period shot. I'm a bit annoyed with myself for not leaving space in front of the car so it feels slightly odd. But it's ok-ish.

Thanks for looking. All shot for the spectator areas as accreditation was... err... a different set up to normal!
Truck racing at Lydden this Saturday before BRSCC meeting on Sunday at Brands. Got to love the variety of meetings this month!
Cheers
Jon
