went out the other day and shot 6 log homes my brother has built for his photo book...was able to shoot the inside of 3 of them and shot the outside of all 6 from every angle i could find...traveled well over 100 miles to get them....what would a person of charged him to do that if he would of hired them professionally??? just curious....thanks...

so how long where you out there? any processing? full rights, probably $650 for the day including travel, if i had to process them say another day thats another $500, for full rights and a CD of all shots i would say close to $2,000 all inclusive, i know some marketing companies here who charge $400-$500 per house

Dont quite know where you are located but real estate photography does not pay well here in Michigan. They tend to pay less than any type of photography---so location does matter.
Off the subject--I wished I ran into your brother a few years ago when I was building my home--I wanted a log home soooo bad but could not find anyone that was not going to find anyone good that could do it for less than triple what the standard stick built rate was. ---please post some pics--I love log homes.

Yes but this is not real estate photography, this is a commercial shoot. Typically this would fetch about 2k for the entire shoot with +- on the usage.
