Hi guys,

How much did you pay for a lens repair ?
I dropped my 70-200 IS and they ask me 1000 Eur for repair. This includes 240 min of labour.
Looks pretty expensive, isn't it :?:

Gads, that is a lot of money.

I dropped my 100-400L IS and they charged me $300US. Incidentally, they gave me that estimate when I dropped it off, before they'd even looked at it. Perhaps yours needs parts replaced over and above the normal (whatever that is).
