New Canon Lenses ???

To All,

I'm looking to buy the 100 - 400mm IS L lens. However, I see that several "L" lenses have rebates being offered for the US versions. Does this mean that Canon will be comming out with new lenses, and should I hold off on purchasing until then? Your thoughts.

Well, there may be new lenses and its anybody's guess, but the rebates themselves seem to be an annual thing. Canon had the same thing last summer.
