Just shoot this tonight at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Here it is straight from the camera nothing tinkered with yet. Tell me what you think.

It is a nice catch for sure, but the image just isn't balanced. The left side of the image is so dark compared to the right. I think what you actually have here is a great square photo composition. If you crop out the left side of the image (including the rainbow, sadly) the lighting on the canyon walls and the clouds line up very well. Give it a try.

I like it. About the only thing I might try is to lighten the shadows a bit to bring out some of the rock detail (but not much) and maybe crop in slightly tighter towards the rainbow.

Try a pano crop. Love the tones though.

I agree with Kenny on the shadows thing...but overall, really nice looking shot...I much prefer the North rim to the South rim...

Now this is one dramatic scene.
Love the play of light on the mountains and the sky is superb
But you got a lot of spots on your sensor.

I would also like to see it with the right side cropped out so the whole sky looks darker overall.

I agree with Frank's comments.
I would clone out the rainbow because it's too small to play a part in the image.

This is real nice. There is so much to look at here. I would also pano crop it,bring out some of the shadows, & straighten the horizon a bit.
