My English being bad, I am sorry to be able to give more explanations. Special thank at all for your participation and your pictures. It was very difficult to choose.

1st Place, Brooks Vaughn "It's My Turn to Play". I don't know this play, but i like the hand, the "texture" and the idee. Congratulations.

2nd Place, Pauly_G. The pup which wants to play or help. To cute to see it.

3rd Place, IainB. He's really ready to go ?

Boutty, It's too funny to see the flags are not in the good place.

andrewaaa5, Very beautiful colors and this couple which look fascinated...

KC Jewel, Sorry but i don't understand the idee.

Special mention for Mary, I laughed so much too seeing this advertising.

Congrats to the winners - Brooks Vaughn, Pauly_G & IainB for their well deserved images. Well done to all.

Thanks host Carolys for a fun topic. Sorry about my bad composition as I can't get a better viewing angle while tried to hold my camera as still as possible against the barrier. ;)

The well exposed and crispy-sharp image of G9 by Brooks Vaughn is really impressive! May I ask how the game is played?

Cheers Carolys - an interesting subject!

Well done Brooks Vaughn.

Just had to enter my parents 8 week old border collie puppy.....helping my Dad clear the garden!

Cheers

I must apologize to everyone for not checking my email sooner and to thank IainB for jumping in to select the next challenge theme. I could not have selected a better topic. "Green" is great!. Thanks again.

I had only owned my Canon PowerShot G9 for 12 hours when I shot and posted the winning photos. We were visiting my friends house and their children were playing with their Grandmother when I took the photo.

I want to thank everyone for their positive comments and support. This is truly a forum of dedicated and creative photographers.

Hello Brooks,
Could you tell us what is this game ?
And many thanks to IianB for the new challenge Green.

Brooks Vaughn, congratulations on what is probably the fastest 'win' in the challenge's history! I appreciate that both you and Pauly_G are very new to the forum, so your penance for missing the deadline must be to submit entries in the current challenge! This challenge series has continued for an amazing 136 weeks, and we love to see new folk submit.

I agree! and challenge #136 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=376806) started with submissions from the two ladies with the highest post count in these forums, and they both are great photographers and frequent winners too.

And let us not forget to thank the gentleman who will temporarily be helping to update the winners list of the challenge threads since week ?? too. ;)

Yep, being a new user I wasn't sure whether I'd receive a Private Message to ask me to run the challenge since Brook hadn't set one up....so I just sat around waiting....

I'll have to see if I've got any suitable candidates for this weeks competition!

Cheers

Ah! Boutty, Boutty.

I update the winners list since 2nd of March 2006 (Thu) (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1242509&postcount=2 ) or at least that is the date of my post.
It takes a few minutes every week, and the best part of doing so is that I track these challenges even when I can not submit my pictures, so it is more the retribution than the very small amount of work involved.
