4x6 is a global group of photographers from a wide range of backgrounds who share the aim of creating innovative, interesting, and sometimes beautiful, images - and learning from each other.

You will not find 4x6 snapshots, images that would normally be classified as wildlife, landscapes, portraits, or images of record. Nor will you find images that have been manipulated beyond the equivalent of normal darkroom processing.

The core activity is to take pictures on the basis of a given "theme". These are first shared with other members, who provide constructive criticism, before the complete set of images is released for public view. A new theme is run every few weeks.

Membership of 4x6 is selective and requires the submission of a portfolio of images.

We hope you enjoy the 4x6 galleries. We certainly enjoyed creating them!
