yours cricket are way different from ours over here. love the last one guess i like to see the whole critter. just started to realized that over the last few weeks.

Great pics - #2 and 4 are for me. These are another great subject to photograph, they always have that grumpy look on their faces lol

@Bill, our bush crickets are pretty much the same as your katydids.

RM- get quite a few of them in my garden - two different species I think.
Linda- you are right- do seem to be one of the bugs with a bit of character
