You will hate me for this question but How do I post a picture. I can find no place to put it so I can link it, or enbed it. And I can't search any help on the subject that helps me.

Try here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=290249). If, as I think I'm reading, you don't have a place to host your images, the second link in there is on how to attach them to your post here, so they're hosted at POTN.

Use the "Go Advanced" option just below the posting box. You'll get a larger posting box with more options.

Rule number ONE: You can only post your own photos at POTN. That's a big rule.

To Upload A Photo:
The top row of options has a paperclip. Click it. You'll now have a small window with three boxes. Two of them are marked Browse. Click one of these and browse to the file on your hard drive. There are restrictions on size. Such as nothing larger in JPEG than 800 pixels on a side and lower than 100k in size. Then click the Upload button. If there is a problem with your photo, it'll let you know.
You can also enter a URL of a photo out there on the web.

To post a link to a photo, click the little box that looks like a yellow mountain with a moon over it. You'll be prompted to enter the link to a photo on the web. The difference between this option and the other "out there on the web" option is this option will only be a link to the other site.

I must be thick but I don't see it.
When I go to new topic.
I'm missing the manage attachments button.
And the top row of buttons with the paper clip don't work either.

And Jon thanks for moving me to the correct topic!

You need to allow pop-ups and scripting from POTN for either attachments or embedded links to work. And if you Go Advanced you'll see a button for Manage Attachments below the text entry window.

I don't know?
I turned my spy ware blocker off and it still isn't working for me.
Who knows.
