well that was either one large can or 2 really small children. Its not that difficult really in photoshop basicaly you are using 2 shots and combining them into one with a series of layers. Idealy you would shoot both the can and children under the same lighting. then after a series of cuting and pasting you woould have this as the end result. It takes alot to get it to look right.

looks pretty easy, just slap 2 shots together using layers/layer mask. just have to make sure both shots are done with the same lighting so they match in tone and shadows.

Agreed - the best done parts of the image are the lighting and shadows seeming pretty natural.

What's not particularly well done are the parts of the boy on the top/right that come out of the can. His arm casts makes no reflection on the tin and his hair just disappears into a mess of pixels.
