What kind of suggestions? Remove cellphones from pockets before taking photos. Use a wider background.

Their white tops are reasonably well exposed, you could maybe have used a bit of fill flash to brighten faces, or use the fill light in CS3 to bring the faces up. I would expose for the faces even if it means blowing the clothes a little.

So I should expose using the camera * button and aim for the face?

Does thi photo look grainy to you/.

I would rate this photo ( 1-10) compared to other POTN photos.... a 0
I cannot get high quality wow photos.
I need some beginner help.

Yes, * for metering. You can't tell grain from a small photo. I'm not going to rate it, but it's a nice photo, it'd be very good if the technical things were done correctly. You can prob rescue it with RAW.

Check out the links in my post and use the tutorial for starters (asuming you have PS, if not you can still get similar results but the terminology in your software might be different).
