Well, does it work? or is it only for 10D and "above" as Canon state? :?:

Did Canon state it's only for the 10D and above?

According to the European download website (http://software.canon-europe.com/software/eos_viewer_utility_for_windows_ens19900.asp?model= EOS%2010D) it's for the 10D, D30, D60 and 300D.

Anyone have trouble downloading the .pdf file with the instructions for this?

It appears to download but nothing I can find in my computer :?:

I followed a link to Canon USA from Roger Cavanagh's site, and on that Canon page it stated the 300d was not supported, maybe the page is out of date. But I see that as you say, on the Canon Europe site, that it is supported - so will try it. Have just downloaded it now.

I too have been unsuccessful in downloading the pdf from the European site site. I'll try elsewhere - trying from the Canon Canada site now - yes, that works fine and I can open the EOS file viewer utility manual which confirms it is for the 300d.
