Update firmware impossible...

I am a (recent) lucky user of D30.

But Firwmare is version 1.0.0.0
When I try to update it , process stop after "controlling firmware" msg (counting stop after 34%, jump to 100% and stop forever)

Is there any solution before hanging ?
Thank you in advance for your help (and supporting my horrible french accent...)

Looking at this page:

it says to press the SET button, if you get an error to try again. If this does not work, I'm afraid it's back to CANON.
