delta bracket

is anyone familiar with this bracket? what do you think of it? will it hold a 40d with a grip without an issue?

I'm also interested in the 18" model... My concern is more with it supporting the 580EX II or even the 430EX... some POTN feedback has been regarding the weakening of the 18" arm after some use.
