Trying to decide if using EM is worth it as good marketing strategy as compared to local printing.

Is is more of a convenience thing for you all? or are you truly making money to where it's worth paying the "pro" EM fee's.

Just curious and thanks for your input!

It is by far convenient for me because I shoot so much that the unlimited storage is a life savor. It makes it very easy to upload and get the images in front of people, however online sales are always not up to par as on site is. I am trying to figure out a way for them to pay by check...because MANY parents in this area do not want to use a CC.

The pro fee is SMALL compared to other sites and well worth it, I make it back usually in the first order or two.

Ditto here as well. It's convenient, less expensive and a bit more flexible that SM, customizable, great customer service, awesome prints.
I do this as a part-time gig, so I don't do on-site although I keep getting asked to.
For me I shoot, I upload, they view, they buy, I get paid.
So don't like the CC and or shipping charges but hey if I had to print it, pick it up and mail it my cost would be much higher.

40D here I come.
