It's getting there. The green leaves are starting to look infrared like as is her skin. You certainly have the right gear hangin' off the front of the G3. I think you'll get better results, though, if you shoot IR on bright sunny days as opposed to cloudy days. There just seems to me more IR "around" on those kinds of days.

Naturally :D

I was trying to go for the ghost look, but cloudy days just dont cut it.

I was hoping to see your results. First time I looked at the post there was
no image but I noticed you are also using the G3. I am considering an R72
IR filter, so I was curious to see how it works.

Have you tried the swapping channels tip that Laz (I think) posted?

Post more pics...I wanna see more from the G3 IR world.

Just noticed you have a RED filter on the lens too...how come?

A red filter in B&W photography, can be used to block out blue and green. Also it allows red to pass in and make anything red extra white(over exposure). Notice the red type flowers near her. Also if your subject has redish skin or red blemishes, a red filter will make there face whiter in B&W photography. Her skin is reddish, this will hopefully add the ghost look with the IR filter.

The swapping channels trick was posted a while ago and I cannot find it.
The idea was to swap the red and the blue channel in Photoshop on the
IR pictures to get more contrast. I don't know more than that, but there
were some amazing results.

Only in this case. I listed it as a cloudy/partly sunny day. With all those filters on(2), my subject needed to be extremely still. Of course any slight movement would cause her to blur. Ther branch near the top left is blurred. due to wind. i had to take this pic multiple times at different seconds

If i had done iso 100 she would have to stay still for at least 9 to ten seconds. This would be great for less noise, but the conditions did not allow for it.
