I'm a bit bothered by the stalk running right up the center of the pic, & I'd like to see more of what's happening on the right side where the brighter areas are cut off. (I know they're blown out, but I'd like to see the shapes that resulted.)

Yes, I agree with you on the stalk up the middle aspect. I guess I became so enthralled with the transparant petals, that I didn't pay close enough attention to the overall composition. Thanks.
