With the technology today I logically, do not use a newspaper for the happenings in the world. I of course use the internet. So, i was wondering, what site do you use to get good reliable information. (All party sites are welcome). Its so hard to find a good one. Thanks.

I use iGoogle to give me my news.
It uses Sky News, and Google News, as well as Google Technology, DPreview and Engadet for my photography and gadget news! Also use several rss feeds.

Still watch the evening news on TV and read the newspaper daily. I'd be lost without the paper.

I'm a CNN guy too... I used to like watching the channel, but when they switched to this new format, I didn't realize they also meant switching from reporting relevant news to 80% BS. Between Fox, MSNBC and CNN, I'd almost prefer watching the E! channel for news... That's why I watch ComedyCentral>The Daily Show and Colbert Report is where I watch the news... but enough blabbering...

I’m all over the place. I like you no longer subscribe to any papers and prefer to get the news online. I use my carrier, Comcast for my first source as it comes up as my home page when I open a browser. I glance at the headlines, the video headlines, the strange news. If there is a story I want to dig deeper into I use CNN, BBC, Yahoo, but mostly Google searching on the story and reading multiple sources from all over the place. I especially like to check out foreign sources as our news media here so slant a story to their agenda that it’s hard to really understand what happened.

That's what I'm starting to do. I Google just about evrything... at least twice now... Hell, I've googled myself a few times and I keep getting different results! BUT, I must say, I still love going to lunch or sitting at a coffee shop bymyself and opening up a USA Today and reading the whole thing.

I use my local paper's website, plus msnbc.com and abcnews.com. msnbc doesn't work well of firefox, probably for the obvious reason. cnn seems cluttered for me, so I rarely go there. For hilarious spoof reading, go to www.theonion.com.

I come here; the POTN General Chat. Someone's always pointing us to something interesting. If it's not at POTN, it's not worth reading.

Thats what I like also....I hate how the media always spins stuff to boost rating and skew the actual truth to stuff and create an uproar.
