Macro advice

I have a 10D and the 24-70 2.8L lens.

I want to try some macro shots without investing in a prime macro lens at this time. Would I be better off with extension tubes or the 250D Close up lens? I haven't found too many write ups abouth either option.

if anyone replies - please advise on other lenses as well, like 70-200 IS or 20-35 or 50 f1.8 MkII

Do a search for my nameput the words "tubes" and "500D" in. Put my name under author. On the bottom left click Display Results As "Posts"

I have many posts comparing them. It's too early in the morning to re-hash. They both have advantages and disadvantages.
