Cactus Wireless Shutter Release Trouble

I recently purchased the cactus wireless shutter release on ebay. The signal works perfectly fine but it has trouble functioning when connected to my canon 30d body.

I was wondering if anyone else has the product and the same problem. In order for it to work i have to physically push the plug in to my camera.

Is this a common occurance or do i have a faulty product?

yeah me too,.. just got a cactus jack wireless release and it's not working w my both camera 40d and 5d
the transmiter led is on when i push but not w the receiver. did anyone knows or have the same problem ,.. help...
