Ever wonder where your lost UPS packages go? They go to my house!

This is a follow up on my earlier WHOO HOO!!! thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=374156)where I got all excited about getting my B&H order today. (all the new stuff is great, btw)

On the grass next to my driveway I found the following:

It was partially opened, and me liking mailing tubes for storage and shipping, I thought it was trash and pulled out the contents. It's filled with "Human Resourses" posters and an invoice for $48. Ooops! Not trash. According to the tracking number, it's out for delivery. Today.

My uncle has ties to UPS. I'm going to let the decision to raise Holy Hell rest with him. The rightful owner will get their goods. The rightful delivery person is going to get a swift kick in the pants.

Just thought you'd all like to know, if I find any of your lost gear, I'll forward it on to you. ;)

I'll re-check my lawn. I have some high foliage near the house. Perhaps it's behind the ruellia. If I find it, I'll even charge the batteries before forwarding it on.

What would you have done if there was a new monopod in that tube?

Replaced it with my old one and returned the tube? :D

I have a very nice monopod, thank you very much. If I could go out of my way to return a $180 bracelet, I can return a monopod.

I'm more curious why Bill has industrial-style vinyl flooring in his house. Looks like a floor seen in a public cafeteria.

If you had read my earlier thread (LINK) you'd get a clue that I went home at lunch. :p

I DID have carpeting in my office. The story of how I came to have industrial tile is a miserable one. There are children present. :(
