Video capture time

Hi!

Is there a possibility to take longer video captures than 30" (in 'high resolution' mode)?
CF-card capacity is not the point, there's plenty of mem left.

i had the same question a little while back and i from what i found out, this is a limit with the s30/40. it doesn't matter how much memory you have, the camera is only capable of 30 sec. high res video and 120 sec. low res video. i believe that sony is the only company that makes a camera that enables longer video capture with more memory. what i do is take multiple video clips (although there is at least a 15 second gap due to the processing time between clips) and merge them into one video with the video impression software that came with the camera.
