so what did yu do today?

as the title states, what did you do today. here I'll start.
friday, september 7: woke up at 4:00 to go running, went to school (where I still am) had 2 quizzes and tonite I'll be trying my hand at shooting fireworks.(stay tuned for results)

so what about the rest of you? what did you do today?

Well, I sure wasn't up at 4am to go running... But I did get up at the ungodly hour of 6:45. Spent the day at the pc emailing photo orders, and on the phone with clients. A very boring day. But considering I've been home 7 days in the last 38, it's bound to be a little less interesting.

well, lets see...

couldn't fall asleep til almost 5am. woke up just before 11am. showered, ate and played with the cat for a bit in spite of wanting to just go back to bed. went to the studio of the sculptor i work for at 2pm. made a 4-piece plaster mother mold for a piece thats going to be cast soon. got home around 8 but was too exhausted to get a shower so, here i sit, in a pair of shorts and covered in little plaster splatters.

my youngest son and i took my oldest to school, we both sat around and cleaned the house, and stayed sick together. then a few hours later we picked aidan up from school. came home, and played in the backyard with both of them. now we await the hubby to come home.

My husband left early for work, so I got the boys up, got them dressed and fed and discovered my husband had taken my car keys to work. After frantically searching the house for 20 minutes, I found a spare set. Drove my oldest to school, brought my youngest to the park for two hours, went to Walmart and bought my kids Halloween costumes (firemen), went to Chik-Fil-A, put my youngest down for a nap, checked out POTN, woke up my youngest, picked my oldest up, brought them both to the mall for 2 and a half hours, got pizza, came home, my youngest got hit with the fake plastic axe from the fireman costume - now they're all upstairs getting ready for bed and my youngest is yelling "Ma Ma Ma" (that would be me). Gotta love parenthood. Chow.

Woke up at 9 when my wife went to work. Lounged around all day because I'm on night shift. Got to work at 7pm then found I needed to go to Reading for a server install. Left Liverpool Street to go to Paddington. Bought ticket to Reading. Saw a full brass band playing on the concourse which was a nice suprise (I'll stick a pic in my photoblog in my sig soon) Hopped on train, did the work. Caught train back but there was a problem so I got as far as Richmond. Caught a train from there to Clapham Junction. From there caught train to Waterloo. From there caught tube to Tottenham Court. From there took a bus back to work and I only just got back in (1:46am)

Got in and saw pizza waiting for me so I'm happy :)

Up at 0530, work at 0700. Done at 1730, home by 1800 (6 PM). 2 loads of laundry, cooked dinner, balanced the checkbook and a few other financial tasks. Surfed POTN and a few other sites. Waiting for rain, sipping on a couple of cold ones.

9/7/07, this was a fun day! got to work at 5:30am and did one bore that was uneventful, but when we started the second one about 10:30am there was a light pole foundation in the way, trying to get around it in too short of a distance I broke a drill rod and had to dig up the head, so now we had to dig a new hole about 3 feet long and 4 feet deep to get to the broken drill rod and pull it out. Then when the backhoe operator went to get more dirt the motor mounts sheared (yes, all 4 of them) and when the engine dropped it busted the radiator and blew the antifreeze all over so we had to clean that up also. hopefully tomorrow is easier!

11:00 am - Ran 2.5 miles at the gym
12:00 pm - Back to work
5:30 pm - Home
6:00 pm - Made mac and cheese for the daughter, made a bottle for the son
6:15 pm - Searched the web for those nude pics of Vanessa Hudgens - unsuccessful
6:30 pm - Neglecting kids for POTN

Woke up at 6AM. Took the Doxie for a walk. Went to work and gave my students 2 quizzes. Had a meeting at 2. Came home and worked online for a while and I am now just playing while watching some TV.

Woke up at 5:30...got dressed for work....did the grind...clocked out at 3pm. Went by 7-11 checked my checking account to make sure I had sufficient funds in there...I did.....drove home.

Hopped on the internet...brought up B&H's page...hit these keys in this order' 5 0 1 . 4 ' in the search engine. Clicked 'add to cart'...checked out...log in to email...read the notification and then moved it to another folder safe from mistaken deletion.

Went to dinner at a local burger joint at 6...went by my sisters place to see the kids. Came home at 8:30...looked for a used lens hood for the new lens...decided I dont need one...the glass is recessed into the lens....so no worries on too much with that....bout to go out...found this thread....wrote what you have read so far....and just got through hitting 'Post Quick Reply' button....hows that for up to date?:D

330 - Left for a haircut
430 - returned home, showered and changed
530 - went to MiLB playoff game
10pm - got home, got onto POTN
1035 - Saw this thread, read through it, saw Mary's post (Spyraling) on Vanessa Hudgens, did not know who Vanessa Hudgens was

How did you find it so fast? I swear I searched for a good 15 minutes and then a couple more times later and just gave up. Maybe it's a guy thing or I'm just a sucky researcher, because when the husband came home I told him I couldn't find it. His response? "Oh, well then you're lucky I already found it earlier." A few clicks and he brought it right up.

9:00- woke up
2:45- came home
2:50- left home to shoot
3:40- came home and ate
3:40-Now- Did absolutley nothing.
Now- Going out.

Pretty normal boring day.

Haha...guess its a man thing. I had it in a few clicks. I've heard of High School Musical, but I never knew she was one of the people on it. My neices and cousins love to watch High School Musical. I bet my sister in laws and aunts won't let them watch the show anymore if she is still on it. Rumor has it that she got fired...but who knows.

slept in till 10 (only get to do that on saturdays) helped load up the car, went to the post office to mail payment for my 70-200 f/4L non IS then went to my Nephew's first birthday party, took a bunch of candids the came home and took a nap and now am browsing around POTN and entertainng the idea of buying the POTN photo book.
