I would like someone to give me step by step instructions, using my adobe 7.0 photoshop how to take 300 images, and put a watermark on them all at the same time. (my watermark):D
Also, I would like to know how to crop all the images at the same time. Now I am doing them one at a time and it is a forever and ever project.
:)
I never have been able to understand how to do something completely unless I have had good instructions or had hands on doing it.
If you could help me, I would be most appreciative.
Thanks
Ron

Look in the RAW post processing section and you should find what you're looking for there. I use Fastone Resizer for watermarks/resizing. Sorry, I can't give you a link tho'

Hi Ron,

There are several ways to this and the question comes up a lot.

See here for watermarking: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3825129&postcount=8

Here's how to create an action to do batches: (N.B I don't think Fit Image is availaable in PS7, but you can use Image Size): http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3850636&postcount=5

When you say cropping, do you mean resizing (for posting web)?

Yes, I want to resize all my photo's to a size they can view on line, but not copy and hurt my reprint sles. I also thought by doing this and putting my watermark on the photo, it will increase upload speed and keep pirating down.
Thanks

I watched the Russell Brown show, but he uses Photoshop Illistrator and bridge and I only have Photoshop 7.0. I want to do the same thing he shows here without the illistrator. Can you help me

make your watermark - save as a PSD without a background and close (remembering where you saved it)

i take it by crop you mean resize?

next open a photo - make a new action - called "watermark"
next resize the photo to the size you want using the file->automate->fit image (type the longest length you want your photo resized to,ie. 800px in width and height) - yes its available in PS7
then do your normal sharpening for a resized pic
now open your watermark
select all
copy
close
paste
tweek to your tastes
stop action

open a few photos landscape and portrait and test the action, if it doesn't quite work, tweek it some more until you're happy with it

run the action as a batch on a folder of pics:)

Most steps of Digital Watermark branding will work on PS7.
Not too sure about fit image though.

I do know for sure you don't need illustrator: Just draw a path in PS. That's what I did...

I agree I don't need the art all I need is the water mark to be on all my photo's.
Please be patient with me, I am not good moving around in photoshop nor do I understand the lingo that well. I am a person who needs step by step proceduress. I tried bobster's info and got lost.
Could you be more specific and detailed. Sometimes I feel like a first grader, even at 60ty years of age. I have Photoshop 7.0
