I'll second that. Very nice exposure. The lighting is perfect. Only thing I would do is straighten the image using the golden triangular area to the right of the building (camera right) as my guide edge.

U right !
I wasn't sure if my picture was perfectly horizontal.

2,0 sec at f / 8,0, ISO 100, 18 mm (EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6)

I took 2 picture before this one, i was looking the fountain on my screen of camera to know what was the best setting.

I had another version of the picture, wasn't sure if i prefer this one or the one in my first message. (the color "gold" is slighty lower)

You're almost there. If you follow it down it's still off a bit (see image below...the green line is perfectly verticle, but see the reflection starts to drift away from the line). But maybe I'm the only one that notices this?

By the way, a very handy trick in PS is to get the Ruler Tool, draw a line along the edge that you want straight (very helpful for horizon lines). Once the line is drawn with the ruler tool, go to IMAGE>ROTATE CANVAS>Arbitrary, and the image will instantly straighten out.

Edit - Dang, even with the correction i still think the picture is not horizontal.
May be its because of the shape of the casino ?

Very nicely exposed, you did good. I like the last version, it does seem adequately straight to me. If you can, go back on a windless night and reshoot. The reflections will be tack sharp, ti would be interesting to see how that stacks up to this photo.

I like it too. It does need to be straightened and it helps keep symmetry in the photo.

Looks excellent. Maybe the building was crooked?

I love it. The black sky really makes it pop.
- Did you use the mirror lock-up function?
-I think this shot should go in the thread, "Best photos with kit lens" section!

I don't think my mirror was enable when i made it.
The photo is cool, but i don't think its because of me but just the environnement where i was :p.

Funny story about this photo :
Casino de montréal is in middle of the Circuit Gilles villeneuve And i found a little place with my bike to enter in the area of the casino. When i arrive where i wanted to be, the watering come up,(Yeah of couse, what a coincidence) but my bike and my bag was in perfect position to avoid them. But i need more then water to leave a place ;)

some minute later i notice some watering was kinda stuck and more strong where i was (Yeah of couse, what a coincidence), and when i decide to left, the spray come off (Yeah of couse, what a coincidence).

I will try to take a better Quality photo (not with the setting of the camera) but the position and mirror lockup etc..

because i know the casino is a fantastic place to get good picture :)

Thank you for all youre critics and comments.
