Hello:

I'm going to assume that the following problem will happen to my 10D when I hit 10,000 exposures on the body.

On my D60, I was 40 shots into my 2gb Lexar CF card, when the camera turned over 10,000 exposures and tried to start counting again from 001. The card corrupted and I lost the 40 frames. It took a couple of reformatting tries before the card acted normally again.

The 40 shots were easy to duplicate. I'm just glad this didn't happen when I was shooting a wedding. (I usually don't use the 2GB card for that reason.) Anyone else have this problem with card corruption?

Thanks![/i]

No, it did not happen in my D60. But I didn't use 2G Lexar card.

I had to look at what happened last time it clocked over, but it seems mine went from img_9900 straight to img_0002 (I still have the copy of the CF card on hard-drive)
Not sure if it affects file numbers but I shoot in jpg.

cheers.
