How can I improve this picture ?

The first thing that would help this shot is the simplest. Just rotate it clockwise to straighten your horizon. Next you need to work on your levels to bring out the image on the wall. Of course this is going to make the overexposed window pure white. But you can use a partial opacity mask on another level in PS to help lower the brightness level of the window.

That is juat a couple of fast thoughts. Hope you get it worked out.

You can often reduce the amount of distortion by shooting with a longer focal length. Or, if you can't, try standing farther away & take a higher resolution pic, then crop it.

What filters did you use ?

heum, i used Paint Shop Pro 8.
Filters were:
Auto contrast enhance: Darker/Strong/Bold
3 X Clarify 5
Auto saturation enhance: strong/strong

Then i ran it through Neat image

And again aplied Sharpen filter.
