In most circumstances, I do not wish to make originals available.
But in some situation I do. Typically, I would want to 'unlock' a photo or all photos path in an exhibit for a certain user/password after the exhibit has been published.
If EE had some sort of password password protection, along the lines of the existing 'public' / private scheme, on designated path sizes - like 'originals' - and perhaps for designated photos, then passwords could be given out only to authorized viewers.
The passworded path would not show otherwise.
The password might be optionally input on a per exhibit and/or per photo basis, perhaps in another 'password' input box beside the (optionally) existing password box as well as the exhibit and/or photo 'command line'.
An added 'frill' would be some sort of database audit trail of when and/or how many times the path was selected/viewed.
