Hello,
Can anybody tell me how good the new Sigma DC lenses are (18-50, 50-200) spacifically how might they compair to the lens that ships with the
300D Kit?
Also does anybody know any good sites with review of lenses and accessories?

Thank you.

check dpreview.com forums. there are many reports on thoses lenses. As If I remember correctly, the general conclusion is that 18-50 is worse than the kit lens, but 55-200 is a good lens (for the money). Some stores split the package and sell it separately from 18-50. www.17photo.com is one of them, they have it for $130.

I own a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DL Macro Super II and it's totally not sharp...I hear that the APO version is supposedly better. I would suggest searching through photo galleries on the net taken with the Sigma lenses to make your best judgement if you really want to get a Sigma lens. I would strongly suggest sticking to Canon lenses.
