I only have filters for the 18-200 lens but CORRECTION, THEY ARE THE SAME FILTER SIZE :d for the 10-20mm. I really don't want to do too much lens swapping on my backpacking trip but if it's worth it i'll bring it. What do you all think?

Bring the 10-20mm. You won't regret it. And buy a CP!
Then again, I don't have to carry it or afford it. This is your trip. My trip to the Great Smoky Mountains WITHOUT my 17-40 in my backpack was not what it could have been.

I would pack the widest lens you have. IMO, the mega zooms are not as fine optically at their widest as a zoom made for ultra-WA.

Go wide for Yellowstone, that's for sure, but make sure you've got a good telephoto too.

That's my advice as well... There's just a wide range of things up there... So much to see and do. Enjoy!

Bring all you can carry. And lots of memory.

10-22 for sure, I love the sharpness and color of this lens. They forgot to paint a red ring on that thing.
And you don't even need an ultraslim CP for it neither!
