Hi everyone,
I wonder if you adjust your camera's saturation, contrast, sharpness, etc. (not the white balance).
the reason I ask is I don't like the without pp color (come straight from the camera). Sometimes, they are not enough vibrant and 'bold'.
Thanks for any input.

yes you can adjust that, but it only affects JPEG files, and not RAW. If you are a JPEG shooter (as I used to be) then often the pics that come right out of cameras need zero PP so it saves a lot of time, provided that you get the exposure right. It can either be a huge time saver, or a huge pain if you mess up.
Adjusting it depends on your camera. If you have a newer camera, you can adjust the picture styles. If you have an older camera, then you adjust Parameters. But in any case, this is something that you can adjust.
When I shot jpeg only, I would boost saturation and contrast, and they looked great.

Pic, Thanks for the reply.
Well I shot JPEG and want to convert to Raw. But still Jpeg.
I really want to learn to be like you or Jamie or other great photog here, try to do less pp.
But it's just I really don't like the color, on the other hand if I saw my 2nd shooter result from Nikon, I just feel they are 'bolder'. Sometimes I feel my pictures got the correct exposure, but the color just 'blehh' (or am I just wrong in exposure) ... anyway I will try to find pictures that I feel that way.
Did you boost it (the saturation and contrast) all the way to the max?
Is there any indexing or whatever method to do it ?

I set my 20D to parameter 1, and then bumped sat and cont up one notch. For the 30D, I set it to "Standard" picture style and bumped sat and cont up one notch. On the Mark III, I also set it to "Standard" picture style and bumped sat and cont up one, but the Mark III puts out really drab jpegs so I might bump sat up two notches. Just do some experimenting and see what you like. I wouldn't turn it up all the way because the reds tend to get oversaturated and you can lose lots of red detail as a result.

I shoot RAW all the way, so I leave the parameters on the default. Although I have a good command of manual exposure, sh*t happens. As for PP'ing wedding shots, the key with most of the 10K shooters seems to be more PP, not less. Invest in some of the Kubota or Boutwell actions to simplify the process.
