POTN

A tale of a forum- whose members I've blessed.. (he he)
the addiction to which has left my house a mess.

With all the threads started about rudeness and crass,
just remember some peoples words shoot straight out of their ... :)

I love all the members who bring the forums great joy!
A wonderful place to share tips about our favorite toys.

The old and new, the short or small -
it doesn't really matter the internet hides all!

A nice little poem to show my appreciation-
to the internet place I find relaxation.

And to the mods who work behind the scene-
just send me a neck strap, I'd prefer green ;)

thanks guys :)

Haha great poem (your choice of when to celebrate your post count i a little weird but nonetheless great! :))

Why because it is 5459? My interpretation of this poem:

She sees the couple of recent threads about "classroom" behavior as of late and because Grace is Grace, this is her way of expressing her feelings without getting down with the nitty-gritty! LOL very classy style of hers.

Again, that's my guess. LOL

2. She's a super photographer.

3. She's an incredible artist/painter/poet.

4. She's my cyber-friend.

Your presence brings here a most valuable mind

both witty and nimble a joy to behold

If only I had your gift with both rhyme and word
I would write a better poem than this stinking.... one ;)

And really, is being a Star Wars geek any worse than racking up a few thousand posts on a photography forum, 50% of which where probably about crop factors. :)

Oh yeah, and Han shot first.

There was a young woman from Texas,
who's posts did rarely vex us.
She entertained and impressed,
sometimes by the way she was dressed.
we'd be distraught it she ever left us.

OK, last line sucked, couldn't come up with much that rhymed with Texas.

Who did Han shoot first?

Greedo, in the Mos Eisley Cantina. In the original version Han shoots Greedo under the table because he's cool and calm and dangerous like you'd expect a space smuggler type to be. In the latest trilogy boxed sets Lucas re did the scene so Greedo shoots first, Han unconvincingly moves his head out the way, and then returns fire and kills him. I guess at some point Lucas decided Han is too much of a nice guy to shoot someone in cold blood. Lame.

Hmmm...hey so from the movies, I have summized one thing, Jedi's are liars that try to justify their lies by rationalizing the truth. Sith's work in absolutes, so at least you know where they stand. Maybe a Sith is not all that bad afterall, since it was the Jedi's who say that the Sith are evil and they are liars!

Grapies?

Greedo, at the Mos Eisley...oops Looks like Citizensmith already answered that.

That was by far the stupidest thing I ever seen come out of LFL. In any case, when did Han become a "goody two shoes", that was Luke's thing until he got seduced...hmmm... S e d u c e d...

And then there is the classic.

This is a poem by me.
It doesn't rhyme at all.
It doesn't have those two lines in the middle that are shorter than the others.
And it doesn't scan at all.
And it has one line too many.
