Beautiful shot. What lens did you use? I am going to Fenway tonight and I am hoping to get a shot like this as my seats are above the netting behind home plate. I just have the kit lens, no wide angle, so I'm afraid I won't be able to capture a shot of this nature.

It's no Fenway Park that's for sure. i-70 doesn't make for much of a backdrop lol

Sorry, I didn't get back to you. I think it was a midrange lens, not even a wide angle (16-35). You can't see most of the upper deck in the shot.

How did the fenway shoot go?

philpereira, there are very few parks that have anything much better to look at in the outfield. Seattle and Pittsburgh come to mind.

We have a great stadium.

It's a excellent scene setter for us folks that are not familiar with baseball.

We have a great stadium.

All I know is Fenway and Kauffman, and I like to be a KC hater cuz I'm from Boston. No worries, the Royals get the last laugh because I live in Jackson County and they'll get my tax money to renovate the park lol

On a side note here, i surprised the crowd is that big, i mean 21 games out and it's still packed.....KC must love their baseball
