Female sitting on eggs in her rough nest in a malle tree. She sits there, out in the open, wind or rain, for days and days.

Wow, very cool bird. I tried to read up on it but did not find anything. Is this a nightjar?

Thanks for the comments. These birds are a very easy subject IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. Fortunately they normally return to the same spot each year.
