This could have been a very nice shot if you had not got the bars in front of the bird.
Next time try getting right up to the bars and opening the lens right up and focus on the birds eyes.

I was trying to paint a melancholic picture of a caged bird. Perhaps, a more apt title could have been "Jail-bird".
