Superb Blue Fairy Wren

Hi all, shot of a Superb Blue Fairy Wren taken during a walk at lunch time. One of the local trails near work. Getting quite easy to get these little fellas at the moment cos they are more interested in making out with the girls than worrying about a bald headed grey goaty bloke with a camera.

Very nice photograph of this tiny beauty. Quite often the blues in this species get blown by sunlight so its nice to see a capture with depth and details in the beautiful blue feathers. Excellent!!

Hi cazray, we have brown wrens too, mainly the females - LOL. Oh and we have plenty of colourful robins too.

Us old bald guys need all the advantages we can get....so if it's the girls that makes the birds ignore us great. Top notch shot.

What an awesome shot. That is one of the prettiest birds I've ever seen, the blue is an extremely nice shade.
