Before I post the web address, I thought I would ask you guys if it would be appropriate or not. I would like to ask for reviews of wedding photos from local photographer that has a studio and has been in business for a number of years. I personally find it hard to believe, by looking at his online albums, that he produces "professional" looking images. It's just my opinion but I'd like to know, from what I've learned on this board, if I am judging things correctly?
Should I post the address or not?

I would say no its not your place to post "his" website to be judged here if he wants his site judge by POTN he would post it here.

No, I wouldn't do it. What if someone posted your website on a public forum telling people it sucked?

OK, I won't post it, but I'm just dying to know a second opinion. I've never shot a paid wedding, but will be soon posting some family wedding photos that I was the primary.

Why don't you pm someone you know very well and ask them(if you can trust them and they can be discreet
). OR ask a friend that you have a home.

I'm fairly new to photography and this forum and was looking for an unbiased opinion.

Post your own stuff for C&C not someone elses.
When your judging this other local guy just think, its him that has the studio and has been in business for a number of years not you so he has obviously got something right, even if you dont rate his photos.
This is my first year in business and I am only doing it part time but ive learnt enough in that short time to know that its lot more than just the shots you take.
