HELP! Posting images!!!

Hi
Just wondering please could someone give us some advicce on posting. Everytime I post a picture(jpeg format and resized) all I see is a red cross and no picture! I am very confused as this only happens to some of the pics i post but can see everybody elses!?

Any words of wisdom would be welcome

Are you attaching them to your post or putting in a link to pictures you have somewhere else?

If I'm not mistaken, that IP-base POTN address was temporarily used during the recent server upgrade. Are you still using that address for POTN? Or using the normal "http://photography-on-the.net" address?

I see 3 posts, 2 with one embedded (linked) image and one attached image each and the third with one embedded image. All the images are showing fine.

BTW - image posting rules allow up to 8 embedded images per post (which is also the thread limit) or 2 attached images per post (again, also the thread limit). If your images are hosted somewhere, why not just embed them all in one post?
