Im tring to use a 580 ex in manual slave mode just like you would w/ a studio strobe. is this possible? it seems like it should be able to do this, but i cannot get it to work.
I set it to manual mode on slave, set the power, then fire a seperate flash & i get nothing?
is ettl2 mode the only way to use this flash as a slave?
any help would be much appreciated!
