This flew into RFD today,missed the actual arrival came in 2 hours before its scheduled time of arrival.

The modified IL-76 is arguably the greatest firefighting plane in the world. Those shots give a little insight as to why...the thing is huge...http://www.waterbomber.com/

one at toronto pearson airport, when i used to go into airport to do work i used to see it at its loading hanger, although this one a shipper/cargo plane. think it had israels tags on it. ya huge sucker 4 sure. wish i had a camera at time.

I have to laugh looking at the "Optically Flat" piece of glass at the bottom center of the nose glazing...
"Why no Comrade... We'd never install bombsights in our transport aircraft..."
