Lesser Yellowlegs to save the day!

Migration time is an exciting time for shorebirds and lots of species can be found on some days. Some other days can be slow though...except for the Lesser Yellowlegs which we can count on being present at this time - and saving the day! Always an entertaining species to watch and to photograph. :D

Terific images all of them Dan. The blue and green in the 3rd image is very nice and enriches that image but like I said they are all great.

Beautiful shots, nice and sharp with wonderful detail and colours! The detail in the eye and bill in that 3rd shot in particular, is really something! :-)
