I recently bought the A75. I noticed when I used the record/playback switch, it is a little loose, like it should be nailed down more, or however it is attached. The switch moves o.k. up and down for each mode, though. I can move it a little from side to side. I called Canon tech support to see if it is something that they would cover. The person I spoke to said it probably would be covered. He said if it gets worse or I'm not happy with it, I could send it in and they would most likely replace the switch. Has anyone had this problem, trivial as it may seem? Do you think I should just live with it for now and just go out and have fun with my A75 and learn as much as I can about it? Maybe by then I will have something else that I will want the service tech to look at. I just want my camera to be able to do all it is capable of. By the way, this is my first digital camera. I only wanted a point and shoot type because I already have a Nikon N80 AF SLR which I use for serious photos. I wanted the A75 so I could download and e-mail pictures. So, should I stop being so picky and just have fun with my A75?!?!

I would postpone sending it in until you can expect a 'picture free' period of a bout a month. Just make a note of the date you found the switch loose, find the reciept and get everything ready to send it in. Then when you reasonably expect little or no photographic activity, send the camera in.

Hmmm... I hope that is a long time from now. :)
