These were taken at the same place as the other "Pipes" that I posted. I have the same questions as earlier

I have put up two versions, a relatively unprocessed version, and a sepia version of the same thing. I am wondering if:
A. Are they any good at all?
B. Which one of the two is the better?
C. Suggestions to make them better

As always C&C is much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks JD...do you even think this shot was worth taking? I am on the fence regarding it. I remember thinking when I took it that I thought it was going to look a certain way...and well, it does not look that way...so, I am not sure about this one...

zippy, I like the first. Honestly, if I were you, I would not throw it out. I can understand you not being overly impressed b/c it didn't turn out the way you had hoped, but it is still a good pic none the less!

imo, I would rotate the picture so that pipes go up towards the upper right hand corner, especially when you are taking a wide angle shot, I always like a little turn to it, to help compensate for the distorsion.

Also, try a really contrasty black and white conversion. I like the image, just needs a little love, thats all.

I like the first one better of the two and like this better than the other pipes shot you posted. I think this is more of an abstract and I think you've captured that aspect here.

I think it was worth taking this shot. How is any shot not worth taking? :) The most important thing is to shoot what you like and see with your eyes, right? Maybe you need to use more of a shallow DOF like the shot with the piano. I think that was what you are going for here too.

Hi Zippy! I hope you don't mind but, I wanted to see if you might like this version. It seems you aren't getting that feel you are looking for with your photo. So, here is my take. Hope you like it. :)

It kind of degraded from my PP but, you get the idea. :)

Interesting angle, great capture. I like the play of lines and the tecture in this photo. The composition is pleasing too, 10mm sure gives a unique perspective. I'd like to see this in gritty B/W.
