When I first read your description i thought you wrote 1 Semi-palmated Sandpipers & 1 Semi-palmated Plover. I was having a hard time finding the two birds when all of a sudden Whoa!! A good testiment to how these birds can blend in , that is until your eyes focus on the differences between them and their environment. I bet if you looked away and then looked back you would have to go through that excercise again. Nice one Reigh!

WOW what a cool shot! You had me staring at it for quite awhile and I only can find 15 in all lol.

Great shot and a test of our spotting capabilities. I've had the pleasure of seeing this situation on Brier Island and you can almost step on them.
