Raw Images to jpeg problem

I open raw images in CS and correct them. They look great so I try to save them to send into my lab which only takes jpg. The raw images only let me save them as tiffs and 4 other things i've never heard of. Now, I try to save the tiff as jpg and it still will not let me. Anything I'm doing wrong. Hoiw do you get from raw to jpeg?

Probably you need to change the images from 16-bit to 8-bit mode. This is under the Image/Mode menu.

What program are you running to convert RAW to TIFF?

And what programs do you have to edit the TIFF, like Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, etc?

Sorry. Insufficient Coffee Syndrome. I never saw the "CS"...

I'd say you're right on the mark with the 8/16-bit Mode change.
